poebuilds.cc is a free fan site run by Snacks. No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies.
What we collect and why
When you visit, our web server and our CDN, Cloudflare, log standard request data: your IP address, browser, the page you opened and when. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
When you submit a build, we store the YouTube link and your IP address. When you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can answer. We use all of this only to run the site, keep it secure and stop abuse such as spam submissions.
Cookies and local storage
We set no cookies for visitors. Settings such as theme and sort order are saved in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. We don't track you across other sites, so there's nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off.
How long we keep it
Server logs are deleted after about two weeks, IP addresses from submissions after 30 days. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule. Emails are kept as long as we need them to answer you.
Who else sees it
We don't sell, rent or share your data. Only the services that run the site for us process it: our hosting provider, Cloudflare and our email provider.
YouTube and other sites
Video titles, channel names, channel images and view counts come from the YouTube API Services. By using this site you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; the Google Privacy Policy applies to that data. Channel images are served from our own server, so your browser only talks to YouTube when you open a video. The same goes for build planners and forum threads: they load only when you click through, and their own privacy policies apply there.
